A meeting place for the short film industry!
The Marketplace is a platform open to ideas and debates, and to the promotion and distribution of short films. Here, directors, producers, programmers, distributors, buyers and students are invited to participate in different activities organized to stimulate and develop the short film industry.
Some of the Marketplace’s main features are a script-reading session, a breakfast get-together for directors, information workshops and much, much more!
Every year, television network buyers, short film distributors and festival programmers from Canada and Europe come to the festival to view Canadian short films. To help them, we have set up a special viewing room with individual viewing stations, as well as a film catalogue and an Internet room.
